How can I create a playlist?

Either of these ways:

  • From the Mac menubar, choose File > New Playlist, or press command-N

  • Click the “New” button in the Playlists view

Radiccio lets you create and edit playlists using multiple windows and drag-and-drop, like a real Mac app!

How can I save the playback queue as a playlist?

Add songs to the playback queue, then click the “Save As…” button below the queue.

How can I edit existing playlists?

  • Click the “Edit” button when viewing a playlist

  • Command-click (right-click) a playlist, and select “Edit” in the context menu

Which source types support creating & editing playlists?

On My Mac, Radiccio Server, Navidrome, OpenSubsonic, Plex, and Jellyfin.

  • “On My Mac” sources create playlists in M3U format, which can be played in Radiccio or any other app that supports M3U files.

  • Radiccio Server sources create an M3U file on the remote Mac.

  • Navidrome, OpenSubsonic, Plex, and Jellyfin sources create a playlist using the native format for each service.

We don’t support creating or editing Apple Music playlists at this time, sorry! We are looking for a solution.

We don’t currently support creating or editing playlists on the Mac outside of an “On My Mac” source (i.e., files in Finder). If this is important to you, please let us know!
